To start let me again THANK all of you for your continuing support/cards and e-letters...gifts....wow you folks are the best!

I have now been released to full contact on both feet with the use of no 'walker' and cane only as required.....so I am up walking....."Straighten Up the Dr. yells!.....gee I have been bent over a walker and hurting for 1.5 months doc., give me time!! LOL
Started this past week,, OT--PT--Speech therapy also.....go two times a week for 3 hours each day with homework. I have a follow-up in a 1.5 weeks with a brain specialist in Dallas....I told my wife save the $$ as knowing is in there! But I still have very short term memory issues. I am also dealing with post trama anx./depression--no fun. But each day is better and I am getting stronger. I WILL be in the water this year diving!!! Hope all you folks are well and staying warm these late winter days.

:) xo Alan

Thanks for the update Alan. I'm very glad to hear about your progress, that's really great news. I'm sure it takes a lot of effort everyday, but I know you can do it, one day at a time buddy! :)

I'll be posting a second poll for the late spring fling on March 2nd, to narrow down the best weekend for all to attend, so be sure and let us know what dates might work for you. Traveling down to Lake Travis will require a bit of effort, and there are plenty of North Texas Swampers who can lend a hand, & lots of us here for central support. The camping and socializing will be superb and would be greatly enhanced by your presence. I really look forward to hanging out later this spring/summer. Keep it up!:D

Your pal,

Brandon
