Teric Dive Log - surface interval < 1m is logged as 2 dives

Teric (and possibly all Shearwater computer) divers:
If I am diving and come up to the surface just to see where the boat is and then descend then my log treats this as two dives.
Is there setting I can change somewhere so that if the surface interval is less than say 1-3 minutes that it will be logged as a single dive?
I love my Teric so much but this is is an odd annoyance now that I'm starting to log my dives a bit more faithfully.

Change your end of dive time to 10 min.

Thank you so much! Now that I know that 'End Dive Delay' is what I wanted... I finally found it here (in case anyone else has the same question):
Settings -> Dive|OC Rec -> End Dive Delay -> (change the setting from the default 10 seconds to 10 minutes)
