Tenkiller was over 20 feet above normal. . . now close to normal elevation, a lot of water was dumped downstream. A rapid drop itself has kept the visibility poor. At the Scuba Park, there is no visibility, just as much of the shoreline. The visibility out on the islands is beginning to improve. . . 5 or 6 foot viz at 18 to 20 foot depth. Now that the water release has slowed, the stirred up mud should settle down.
For the holiday weekend, the best visibility will again be out at the islands. Rocky dropoffs into the old river channel, are usually the best viz this time of year. Don't worry, diving will improve until the next big storm.
