Hey Tom!

Thanks so much. I really learnt a lot about Nitrox. I didn't realize what I was getting into prior to the course and at the end I now know it was worth my time. I am really sorry about the first test - I swear it was just the meters <-> ATA conversion! I know I won't forget it now! hehehe. Other than that, all the equations you taught us stuck to me like flies on shiet! And thanks for the offer of advanced nitrox, I might take you up on it but I'll first re-evaluate my passion for diving and if I crave it. As of now I'll heed your advice and rack up the experience with the nitrox dives.

Hey guys, even though the check out is not necessary for nitrox, I'd really reco it! Tom showed us the gas mixers, how to calibrate and analyze beforehand, signing off on the tank, etc. All the formalities of asking for a nitrox tank at a dive op was covered and I really appreciated it. And if you have time, run over to timog and check out Diver's Network. Another shop built for BP/W users!

oh and Tom, welcome to scubaboard! Please fill out a philippine paradise diver profile here:

And if you're adventurous to step outside the forum (I reco that!), feel free to say a hello to the board here:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19

Here is the tech forum:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43
It has DIR, Wreck, Cave, Public Safety divers, Hogs, and Solos (opt in though) among others. But don't bother arguing and critiquing in the DIR forum, it is mostly there just to talk about DIR philosophies and techniques. But feel free to post your advice or gain insight there.

Equipment megaforum is here:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=39 .
Manufacturers like to play around here (Oxycheq, Apollo fins, Deep Sea Supply, to name a few).

Hope that helps! Do stick around cause it'd be cool to pick your brain once in a while!

Regards to Rocio and your adorable beautiful daughters. I'll see you in Subic soon for the USS New York. I'm tagging along with Spoon. :)

Thanks for the tip! I'll pull my sweater out from the back of my closet... I knew I'd need this thing someday! And my brothers thought I was an idiot. :)

Hey Tom, welcome to SB and thanks for the tip about how cold SF is. I wasn't expecting it to be too cold.
