On our last day in N. Sulawesi (when we can't dive) next July I thought it would be fun and interesting to go to Tangkoko Park, but am not sure the best way to arrange it. We'll be coming from Gangga and I have a few questions...
1. Would it be best to stay right near the Park so that we can go on both dawn and dusk walks? If so, any suggestions on where to stay? A homestay?
2. Is it good to have a guide walk with us so that we'd see things we might not see on our own? Would we hire a guide on our own or have Gangga Resort or other agency do it for us? (more expensive , but worth it?) Any suggestions on a good quide and how to contact him/her?
3. Another option would be to stay at a hotel in Manado, see Tangkoko in the afternoon/evening, return to Manado and thus be able to take the early morning flight to Denpassar on Lion Air, but that may be rushing our time in Tangkoko. Any thoughts? The alternative is to sleep near Tangkoko and take later Garuda flight to Denpassar.
Any info. and helpful hints would be most appreciated!
Thanks
