Is the homestay paparisa? I'm going there at the end of march! The pictures look incredible!

yessss.... it's paparisa! It seems like another planet compared to the classic raja homestays 😅😅, I have to wait for next August... maybe in March post some photos here and let me know if you like it!
For the diving, who will you go diving with?

Well, we treated that trip as a once in our lives experience, so why save money? :) However, the neighbours to the East are even more expensive.

eheh... i understand you... for us its a different story... we have been going to indonesia every year for almost a month since 2007.. some places, for us, are simply out of budget for our "long" stay... 😅😅

It's true the neighbours to the east are more pricey, but having stayed at both, we felt the additional cost was worth it .

There is some rules that don’t allow to say the name of the neighbor?? 😜😜 Sorido? 😅
The additional cost seems legit with the more luxurious accommodation they offer… 😅

It is Sorido Bay. I've been twice, and will return. The resort is very comfortable, the food is good, and having Cuscus coming to visit the dining room at night (for bananas) makes evening meals fun.

There are a number of folks on this forum that don't want to pay this much for their diving. We found it both reasonable and worth what we paid.

It is worth noting there is no boat diving on Saturday (through the resort). We chose to dive the house reef on Saturday (they will leave out tanks, etc.) - these were two very good dives (large number of broadclub cuttlefish that were somewhat aclimated to divers because of recent research being done along the reef).

We were there for close to two weeks last time - very worthwhile.

Nah, we don't wanna pay for 6 extra pillows on our beds and eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce vs scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Interesting... I didn't see the option for hollandaise sauce on their breakfast menu, but I would have skipped it as well if I had. Not much of an extra pillows kind of guy either...

I did appreciate the more comfortable rooms, personalized service, very good food, and the <5 min ride to Cape Kri.

You must have been to some amazing places in the country.

We usually spend between 2-3 weeks of diving Indonesia when we go (which is now mostly split between the Philippines and Indonesia). IT would be hard to travel that far or just 1-2 weeks.

Long stay is more expensive, but you can often negotiate slightly lower rates if you're staying more than two weeks.

For us at KER the ride was only maybe 2 min longer, and diving could not get any better with no more than 5 divers on our boat. As for the comfort and food, we are not very demanding. Besides, KER has an interesting home reef we explored from the shore.
