Suggestion .... A post with objective details about the T&C policy. Thread locked and stickied.

But in case not ...

ETA: locked/stickied re-titled as a fuller summary like "T&C - Check your bags ... 12years for any ammo" or something. @uncfnp no dig at you! Previous thread on this was a :trainwreck: and was completely nuked.

Reminds me of a news story I read, perhaps a few months ago, about some Americans getting into legal trouble for wearing camo shorts while their cruise ship was in port. I think it was in the Bahamas. There, as well as in a few other places, camo can only be worn by the military. It was a reminder for folks to always check the local laws and customs before traveling.

Not carrying ammo in your luggage seems like it would be a common sense “custom”, world-wide

Sorry. Did not realize prior thread. I did look.

Will report to mods to remove.

I didn't see the story, but I believe one such country that prohibits camo-wear is Trinidad and Tobago. Laws against bringing weapons or ammo seem common sense, but I doubt most people would think there could be a law against camo-wear. In planning a trip who thinks to Google "what is prohibited to bring into ______?"

Yep, camouflage clothing is prohibited in a raft of Caribbean and African countries.
