The Zoop just came out....my guess is there a bunch of Gekko's out there that you can get a great deal on......

My youngest son just bought a Zoop from Dan's Dive Shop in Ontario, Canada. He paid $299.95 Canadian ($290 US). He seems to really like it, although he's only been diving with it for about a month.

If your son likes videogames, he can also dive dry with the Zoop with our simulator

Folks,

Thanks for the advice and info. Summary seems to be that the "Zoop" is a reasonable choice for a recreational diver, but I may be able get an excellent price on a Gekko. Just need one that retains data, when out of the water. Correct?
