Even if you don't currently need a AI computer, at some point in the future you probably will.
I will be using the Descent as a backup to my unnamed primary computer
which also runs Buhlman 16. The Descent strikes me as a sports watch that can dive, rather than a purpose built dive computer. I am not completely confident that Garmin has the experience to properly design a watch that can sustain long term use at depth.
No, that wasn't me on Ebay. Because of my reservations I wanted the right of return and assurance of full warranty and factory support. I paid full price at B&H.
