Anyone know of a local shop or person in Santa Barbara area that sells or builds the surface supply Air Compressor setups that the Urchin guys use?

Thanks

There's an outfit in MN that sells an oil-less "contractor-grade" gas powered compressor; after that all you need is a good set of filters, an air inlet snorkel & swap out the quick-disconnects for a standard O2 fittings w/valves & you're all set to go.

Max. PSI 155

CFM at 90 PSI 5
CFM at 40 PSI 6.9
Engine Honda OHC / OHV

I see the identical models being sold on ebay [as hookah rigs] for a couple-few hundred bucks more.

Compressors with mild steel reserve tanks are not really suitable for use in a marine environment. You'd be much better off buying a gas-powered recreational hookah (one that uses an American-made Thomas compressor) than adapting a Home Depot-special to the use.
