hi, I just started diving in a new drysuit (Dui trilam) and BC (seaquest balance). After asending and floating on the surface, I was trying to carry on a conversation with my Son, who just started diving. I was having trouble keeping my head out of the water..ie.. floating forward. ..need to constantly kick and roll. My question is what would be the easiest fix ..ie weight on tank ankle weights for trim ? My old suit was a unisuit, I was always able to relax while on the surface.

thanks for any input... G

Stop and think - the gear is designed for under water. And what is the desired attitude underwater? Face foward and horizontal. the same effect occurs with a back-inflate BC.

On the surface, try inflating the suit and deflating the BC to stay on surface
