Hello everyone,

I have planned a last minute trip to South Beach for my girlfriends 31st birthday. We will arrive this Thursday (May 5th) and will leave on Monday.

I was hoping for a few suggestions from you.

She is more of a reef diver but I think an interesting dive would satisfy her underwater needs.

We had discussed going to the keys and that is still an option but I guess i need some advice.

South beach Thursday night and not too late Friday is a must. But after that... we are free.

Thanks,

Simon

Call Valerie at Tarpoon Lagoon Dive Center. It's right where you will be. http://tarpoondivecenter.com/component/option,com_contact/Itemid,3/

What hotel are you staying at? I used to live in South Beach. There are some wicked cool places there.

We are staying at the Marriott until Saturday and then going to Key Largo.

I booked a trip Sat and Sun with Rainbow Reef in Key Largo but haven't setup anything in Miami.

Any resturant recommendations would be welcome as well.

Thanks,

Simon

Simon-

How was your experience with Rainbow Reef?

Alex

If you'd like to dive the Spiegel Grove we are going there Sat. afternoon. We usually do a reef or even the Benwood, another wreck, after the Spiegel. Check us out at the website below or better yet give Admiral Brenda a call for more information.

Good Diving,

What can you tell me about Tarpoon? I'll be in Miami for the weekend. I usually dive the boats further north but this would be convenient.

They are located right on the water in the Marina next to the inlet going out to the ocean. Very convenient. The dive boat that they work with, though not part of the operation, is the nicest and newest in Miami.

The shop is good but does not have nitrox or tech equipment. 305-532-1445. http://www.tarpoondivecenter.com/
