I can highly recommend PSE. Photoshop7's full program costs $700+\- and that's way over my budget and way more program than I need. PSE retail is $99 but I frequently see it for $69 at the larger computer stores...Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. and sometiomes with an additional $$ off coupon.
While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that PS7 has, it more than covers photo processing. I'm very pleased with it.
