Subic in July '12 anyone?

Hi fellow Scubaboarders!

I'm heading to Subic next week - likely to be there most of July/August

Anyone fancy meeting up for a dive or a beer?

I'm travelling alone and it's my first time in the Philippines, so would really appreciate some local knowledge!


One question - does 3G work in Subic? What SIM card should I buy on arrival?

Drop me a line via PM/Email for any specific info you need. I'll up in Subic during July/August. I tend to scoot around most of the dive centers there.

3G is okay in Subic - also, most of the decent resorts have wifi. Go for a SMART or GLOBE SIM card - you can pick them up in any 7-11 or Ministop convenience store and load them with pre-pay cards. Cost for 3G internet is 5php for 15 mins.
