I'm quite new to scuba diving and buying my own equipment.
I'm looking for fins at the moment and Speedo happens to be on sales for Labor day.
They look quite gorgeous and much cheaper than fins made specifically for scuba diving. I wonder if these swim fins can be used for scuba diving

After I created this thread, Scubaboard showed a list of similar posts at the bottom. The following is closest to the question I'm asking

There's a comment in that thread about scuba diving fins are/must be bigger than swimming ones. As a matter of fact, in my last dive trip, I saw some tech divers wearing very short fins, about the same as the Speedo ones.
