I was able to buy some, but wonder if trying to buy them at high volume might trigger restrictions to the dealers.

If anyone wants to make them, let me know and I'll send you a sample you can copy. It looks like the Halcyon ones are made of steel btw.
 
I have a machining company that can make them for $7-8 Canadian. 316 stainless.

I could be in for maybe up to a dozen...

@Open Ocean Diver Starting a new "group buy" thread might be a good idea...and you can put me down for 6. I don't really need any, but like 90% of the stuff I'm "saving for later" I don't need either.

Ok good idea, I’ll do that. I’ll get an accurate estimate and let everybody know. I’ve used this machine shop most recently to cut some gears for an emergency breakdown situation, pricing was excellent and turnaround time was amazing.
