Southwest's Service from FLL to GCM Has Officially Begun!

Southwest will be offering daily flights to Grand Cayman from Fort Lauderdale (with 2 free checked bags!)

This may also be good news for Southwest customers traveling to Roatan, as Cayman Air is now offering service to Roatan from Cayman.

I just flew this route Wednesday - it was SW's 4th Fort Lauderdale - Grand Cayman flight. Cant speak highly enough about it. Crew was great, and flying out of FLL is much better than MIA. Also Southwest allows for 2 bags free.

We will be flying SW to GC in September and I am soooo looking forward to not having to deal with the "we hate our customers" attitudes from the United flight crews.
