South Florida Meet & Greet - Sun., Dec. 19th

Diving on Saturday or even early Sunday is a given. Haven't started to plan that part out since it is a bit far away yet. But if you are coming from out of town I would plan on a little (or a lot) of diving!

We are alos looking to meet some new friends as we work out of the house and it is hard to meet anyone our age in Jupiter What have you and your husband done to meet people? Renee & Scuba Jenny--I work on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM I'm requesting they change my shift from night to day shift so we can come when hubby gets off work at 4:00. Will let you know soon as I get an answer. Several of you have already met my hubby Bill at Dixie Divers, but I still have not had the pleasure, darn work keeps getting in the way.

Will check back soon as I know for directions & what I can bring, food/drink or both.

darabcsek- - I also live in the area. Fort Pierce. I am just getting out of taking night classes and will be able to get back to my scheldule of diving soon. There is a club called Jupiter Drift Divers they go all the time. I drift dive jupiter often as well. I think there is some bridge that Baited Storm dives.. I know ?bridgedive?? But she says it is great.

We will have to all throw a trip together in the north area Jupiter sometime.. hmmm if I only new someone who was SPECIFICALLY TRAINED to plan trips, lead dives, and do all of that... there should be a person like that.. hmm ....

Your input please

I'm leaning toward encouraging lots of munchies and side dishes since there seems to be several people who will be coming at different times.

I have a pretty awesome buffet set up to keep things hot or cold all day. This way no one has to cook everytime someone shows up. So if I was to cook up a bunch of chicken and maybe kielbasa/hotdogs/bratwurst type of stuff and everyone else brings side dishes ...... what do you all think?

Let me know and let's start getting the food list together.

Also, Jenny mentioned a grab bag gift - I think that is a good idea as well. Shall we set a value of no more than $10.
