Not recommended from the BD dock or shore dives is not prohibited by certified divers with required equipment.

I shouldn't care about this, I dive with Dive Friends and have never had a problem :)
I did not ask about whether certs and equipment were needed from the dock. It was not mentioned. His direct comment was, "we can’t control every single diver and if they choose to go solo from Shore or Dock [it] is all on them."
 
Well I am going to Stand up for Buddy Dive shop. I get 12 tanks of air downtown for $100. Air or Nitrox. Grand Caymans was $25 a tank for Nitrox. You pay for weights. You cant take the tanks off their house reef. If you keep a tank overnight, they will charge you. Buddy Dive has Never asked me about dive buddy. But I Always have them around.
