Unfortunately the rainbow on the second day didn't point us to any whalesharks...

Tim and his, as Samuel L. Jackson would say, "Mutha F-ing" huge Aquatica dome...

what the?! i'd be afraid of that if i were a whale shark

The spotters coming down themselves for a look at the whale sharks with their homemade paddle fins...

I could have used that advise myself... didn't know it, but my right strobe was facing in on the second whale shark... ruin some potentially good full body shots... grrrr!

in situations like this i'd think it's really a hit and miss thing, good thing you were even able to snap shots at all.

i probably wouldn't have at the jaw-dropping sight of a whale shark

remember strobes are only good for about 6 feet max

or my favorite other bonehead shot... I had zoomed in my lens to 20mm for a previous shot and in all the excitement forgot to zoom out to 10mm for this one! Cut off the tail, dorsol, etc... @#R#@%@!!
