Ah, but as we have learned from our 6 pages of blathering luck has nothing to do with it. See, there is a new alternative insurance product that you can leverage here...one that requires no foresight, annoying and tedious analysis of probability vs cost, expensive premiums nor any risk of a claim denial by an officious insurance representative citing some exclusionary snippet of cleverly disguised fine print. You don't have to buy anything ahead of time and can just blissfully plod along without a care in the world. Should an unfortunate incident such as this befall you then just crowdsource your way back to financial restitution!I can't see the op paying for the gear loss. This is the same op that canceled us in October of 2020 and wouldn't refund our money due to the fact we couldn't go for the next year-and-a-half and wanted us to schedule for this October and we've been paying on this trip since 2017....all I have to say is good luck!! They are a piece of work!
