Gee, I don't know Dude. How far do you have to go with this "special" deal before they feel it's okay to let the cat out of the bag?

For another $50 bucks you can get one from a manufacturer who isn't afraid to tell you their name.

Try one of these:

With all the adjustments needed for a good fitting harness, it is nice to have help from a local LDS.

That all depends on what they're gonna charge you for the help...... It's not worth much to somebody who's smart enough to figure it out for themselves...

I would call them and who the "famous name" manufacturer is before I committed to buying anything.

Just my .02

Looks like Dive Rite stuff.

It IS DR stuff. And, they assembled mine for no extra charge...all I had to do was tweek the weight pouches for trim. They have treated me very well and I would recommend them to anyone....and no, I dont work there or get kick backs.

This is long running deal so don't be rushed. If you search you may be able to find some of the posts made about special hardware not included but availale for considerable $$.

The item I recall was the wing attaching fasteners. As I recall you can just lace it in place but it is preferred to lock it down with the fasteners. I'm not a BP/W user (yet) but I have been fiollowing the topic for about 18 months.

BTW, where do you dive? What sort of diving are you planning to do? A fuller profile helps us help yopu.

It's really cheaper for me to pay someone else a small amount (via the retail price) to get the d-rings perfectly situated and the harness webbing trimmed with a hot knife. My time is worth more than that. And as someone new to BP/W, I appreciated all the helpful feedback I got from my LDS.

My IQ is sufficient. ;)
