Why is it important to have a sack race for every dive ? and why would you put something like that in your log book ?

So, NetDoc, how does one get rid of Florida Keys sea lice?

Do they just eventually go away by themselves?

Or have you never had it?
Copious amounts of vinegar will help the itch. The best cure is to PREVENT them. Wash off in fresh water: don't let the buggers dry on you! You will find that the rash will be more intense where you have cloth clinging to your skin (like a waist band).

I thought you die with a split fin?

I am past the stage of prevention, unfortunately.

It is on my neck, shoulders, and upper arms, and also ankles, where sea water entered at my dive skins.

I heard something about oatmeal baths, but not sure if it is worth it.

How long until it goes away? I have been back from the Florida Keys for a month now.

Next time I will take a shower on the live-aboard after every dive.
