Snorkling in Coz

Hey:
Going to Coz this Tue. with a non diver.
Any advice on the best areas for her to snorkel?
We are staying at the Allegro Resort (south tip).

Near shore the currents are not bad. Just don't wander out to far from the beach. The snorkeling is truely INCREDIBLE there. You'll be pleased.

Hi tmeteka,

There is a nice area for snorkeling, and rental gear, at Chankanaab Parque. It's a US$10 entry fee and I believe its hours are 8:30-AM until 5PM. Also has other activities.

DocVikingo is right Chankanaab is a good place to snorkel, You can also snorkel in front of La Ceiba hotel. check out the link below
