Testudo -very nice photos as usual. You are getting better all the time. I don't like the fact that since sometime last year SB does not seem to allow posting of larger-szed photos. Your photos deserve to be seen in larger size than a mere 600 pixels. Photo #5 would look great in a larger size. All the past photos I posted in this thread used to be 1024 wide (I went through the trouble of customizing them at this size), and now they only appear at 600 wide. This has reduced my enthusiasm for posting new photos here. By the way, is the second to the last photo a free-floating anemone? I have never seen that before.

Hi Dave C,

Just get too much enjoyment out of taking the photos, that not being able to share them, even in their too small post limits would be a let down. I usually just right click on an image and open it in a new tab, where they can be seen in their native size. A pain, true, but an easy work around.

That is indeed a free swimming/floating anemone. I came across it near some swimming area marking buoys close to shore coming back from Governor's Reef of Seven Mile Beach of all places. Just goes to show you can find cool stuff almost anywhere.

Maybe the link to the album will do the images some better justice: https://picasaweb.google.com/testudo92/AroundTheIsland#slideshow/5762195096801708114

Testudo, thanks for posting the Picasa link. Your photos look much better there! Do you have a link to your Picasa home site where all your past photos can be viewed?

Testudo - thanks for the links. The lobster shots from May 27 are just fabulous. I may try to go to GC again after Thanksgiving this year.

Despite the cloudy weather, I was able to capture a few decent shots. The highlight of my day was my encounter with a Broadclub Cuttlefish. The location I went snorkeling at was Maeda Flats, Okinawa, Japan.

Here are two albums from my recently completed trip to the Cayman Islands. Finally got to check-out Bloody Bay on Little Cayman...simply awesome. Though a deeper water location, it is one of the best snorkeling spots I have visited. I haven't edited the albums yet, so there are lots of sequence shots that will ultimately be paired down.
