Do you tie your SMB or lift bag to a reel or a spool?

Spool, a stainless spool. Trying to learn the yo-yo tricks so I can wow Dennis
yes, it has gotten competitive I'm afraid.

I too am a spool kinda girl. I also prefer it as it is smaller and nothing to foul - but I think I said that elsewhere too! :p

Here's an extra credit question: Do you loop your SMB to the spool or reel to do you attach it with some sort of clip?

both, looped on an then use a two-way through the hole in the spool and the d-ring.

All depend of the kind of dive. Spool are great for shallow dives but it kind of hard, well actually impossible to deployed from deeper water with a Spool because they don't make spool large enough, it would also be impartical. I do keep my Spool and SMB together, when using a reel I keep them separate.
