I got an error message, E 8 on my Smart Com. I can also see the tool bar. Nothing else on the screen.

Out of nowhere this happened. Checked the air in the tank, jumped off the boat and boom...E 8 shows up.

I assume this means it needs to be returned for service.

Anyone else ever have this message and can shed some light on the issue for me?
 
Yes, an E8 error means you will need to bring to your LDS to have sent in to SCUBAPRO for diagnosis.
