Yep I see it now. What I did before I switched to the Nomad Ring Bungie was using the upper clip on the neck not on the shoulder. And that does not give enough pull to get the valve behind the shoulder.

Putting the clip on the shoulder is the key, it seems, whether the upper clip is chokered or not, to secure the tank while allowing it to be pulled behind the shoulder.
