Well... To keep it simple.
We have 3 web servers dedicated for just handing web requests.
1 took a poop about 2 weeks ago. It appeared that everything was repaired.
2 days ago. I tested it, then put it back into the load balancer.
It appeared to be running normally. It wasn't however.
Yesterday... Even though it looked, acted, and page loads were normal for me... people complained. Not just one, but several, so I removed it from the load balancer, and people were happy(ier).
I just now (early AM) tested it by putting all of the load on it (like it was the only one running the web service), and it failed. So I don't know why it's not good, but I'm going to try to get someone on it, as I am at DEMA this week. However.... For the sake of honesty and transparency... I am telling you guys... we are on 2 front end servers right now instead of 3.
