Shuttles from airport - any changes due to COVID?

I’ve never seen anyone else follow us when we walk out of the airport. I assume all the other Canuks are staying at resorts...yawn.

as for the taxi pubah I’d would have just gotten tacos like usual but just ate them realllllly slowly.

A downside of the bag drag from Cancun, of course, in these pandemic times, is that you have to spend a lot more time in close quarters on public conveyances where you have a chance of encountering an infected person.

True, but a private taxi isn't that expensive. I suppose the ferry could be an issue, depending on how full it is.

Another vote for walking to Diego's (get fish tacos!). Tell them it's great to see them again and ask them to call a cab when ready to head to your accommodations. They are very nice and accomodating people selling good food, and you will find that the lower price for the cab mostly offsets your lunch cost.

Very easy to do unless you bring enough luggage that you need a porter.

Understandable. We just stack the smaller bags on the larger wheeled ones and then try not to make sharp turns!
