Here is something that may be of interest to all those who would like to easily search or go to ScubaBoard through the Yahoo! Search box.
Yahoo! Open Shortcuts allows you to have custom keywords/shortcuts to search or go to any Internet or Intranet site.
For example, typing !amazon scuba goes directly to amazon.com and searches for "scuba".
While the default shortcuts are nice, the best part is that you can define your own. There's a Create Shortcuts page (look at the example
). But for convenience, I created some links that you can click to add ScubaBoard shortcuts to your personal list.
* !sb to navigate to ScubaBoard forum
* !sbs to search ScubaBoard
So if you want to quickly go to ScubaBoard, just type !sb. Or if you want to search the forums, type !sbs followed by the item. e.g. !sbs buoyancy.
