We added the Trip Report thread prefix about six months ago with a promise to create a new forum that displays the most active 200 trip reports that are posted across all our regional forums.

The reason for the delay was because the upgrade to ScubaBoard had the a new "search forum type" that can dynamically display search results based on the Title Prefix flag. After seeing how useful and popular the Trip Report thread prefix flag has proven we took a fresh look at that project. When viewed against all changes in the last six months and the new capabilities in the ScubaBoard 2021 upgrade we decided to expand on a concept a bit
The following thread title prefix flags have "search forums" that display links to them under the Threads by Title Prefix forum.

Lessons Threads
Share your important life lessons with other divers.
Review Threads
Reviews for dive-related products and services including dive shops, boats, and training courses. Note that reviews that are perceived as one-sided and written to trash the subject may be moved to Thumbs down and the Review flag removed. ScubaBoard readers want objective reviews — the good and the bad.
Trip Report Threads
Want to go on a dive trip but can't decide where to go? You can look at trip reports collected from all of our geographic forums, which covers virtually the entire diving world.
None of these threads have been moved from the forum they are posted in. Think of "search forums" like more general New Posts view of threads.
Please DM @The Mod Squad to request one of these new title prefix flag to be added to one of your posts that you feel strongly should have it one. Please be patient because these changes are done manually and our volunteers have limited time available.
Please use the Report function to ask that a prefix flag be added or removed from a particular forum or group of forums.

Finding Search Forums
All "Search Forums" are found at the bottom of the Best of ScubaBoard Category, which is located at the top ScubaBoard's Forum list:Search Thread Forums
Note that search thread forums display the forum the thread is posted in below the title. Replies & Views are listed to help you make that "click of move on" decision. You can also see the Reactions score that each review has received by allowing your cursor to mouseover the Replies/Views area.Populating Search Forums

Title Prefixes & Forums
Each title prefix flag has to be configured for the forums that they can be used in. Not all prefixes are appropriate for every forum. It is a mind-numbing and tedious process so I am sure I made mistakes.Please use the Report function to ask that a prefix flag be added or removed from a particular forum or group of forums.
