What are the chances we'll be able to dive this weekend?

SATURDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET. BAYS
AND COASTAL WATERWAYS CHOPPY TO ROUGH.

SUNDAY
EAST WINDS AROUND 15 KNOTS BECOMING SOUTH AROUND 20 KNOTS.
SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET. BAYS AND COASTAL WATERWAYS CHOPPY TO ROUGH.
SCATTERED SHOWERS.

Water's murky today, but the surf is gone... check again tomorrow and Friday :p

Looks like a blowout for Sunday. Plus the water looks soupy.

SATURDAY NIGHT
EAST WINDS AROUND 20 KNOTS. SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET. BAYS
AND COASTAL WATERWAYS ROUGH. CHANCE OF RAIN.

SUNDAY
SOUTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET. BAYS AND
COASTAL WATERWAYS CHOPPY TO ROUGH. RAIN LIKELY.

Water looked good in person today in Destin. North winds keeping the surf down pretty low too.

Sunday is expected to be rough again off the beaches though.

Saturday might be doable.

Destin is a long way from the Whiskey Wreck. I'd hate to drive all the way over there for a 1/2 crappy dive. What's water look like in Gulf Shores?

No idea, I worked in Destin, not Gulf Shores :p

Not enough light to make an uneducated guess from the surf cams, even with the light, its still a guess without going to look in person. I wouldn't be suprised if it were clear though, Sunday and Monday had 5-8' visibility at the surf's break(thigh-chest-head high surf at that). I'm sure it was awesome once out of the break...
