"this piece of furniture trolling around the house". That is bad. Better hope she does not cruise Scubaboard!

These shop owners that do not own the building and have no hard assests are dreaming, if you ask me, which no one has, I might add.

They want money for the years they have been in business but it would never pass the accountant scrutiny on the bank side for the loan.

Don't worry the 'mother in law' (the piece of furniture trolling around the house") has no clue what life is outside of her job or work. She can't even use the internet!

As far as the asking price, I don't think it is too high. The building is leased and they have itemized their assets on their website. It looks like it needs a lot of tender loving care. I'm sure the asking price is negotiable.

Hi all - I'm coming to Oahu in two days' time for 3 weeks of "hardship" duty at Schofield and would like to er, maximize my off-post time. I'm looking to buy 2 tanks in hydro/VIP for the duration that I can sell back at the end of my stay. Alternatively, if someone in the area (or you folks representing a LDS) can work something out with me renting, that would be great.

Anyone not diving for the next few weeks and want to make their tanks earn money for a change? I'm open to AL or Steel - have DIN and yoke.

Thanks -- tried on Craigslist with no luck -- probably should have started here. Please get in touch asap, as I fly the day after tomorrow.

Cheers,
Louie

Louie, let me make it cheaper for you... I'm assuming that you will have a rental car while you are here. The oldest military and 2nd oldest dive club in the world, Sea Lancers, is located on Hickam AFB. For a small fee you can have unlimited fills and tank rental (I believe about $30 for the month) and you might even be able to hop on a boat for gas money (we have a club dive sunday, $5 a boat dive out of hickam) PM me if you want more info.

Thats a great tip! I wondered why there was no dive club there. Great deal too. Thanks for the info in the PM.
Just wondering, how old is it?

The Sea Lancers celebrate our 50th anniversary in April. Just this past month we had two founding members show up for a meeting, they actually flew in from off Island to be there, and one had slides from when the club was started... needless to say they were amazing.

Now thats old! After todays dive disaster Im looking for a new dive op. We will be showing up there for sure.

Who did you dive with and where did you go? I haven't been diving in a while. Tomorrow will be 1 month.
