I am AADIVER, co-founder of California Wreck Divers (1971), very active diver since 1964, now in my 8th decade, 72, dove every major body of water in the world. My favorite dive: the next one ;-)

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!
If you'll simply click ScubaBoard.com above, you'll be taken to our long list of forums, a wealth of information and resources. My favorite is at the bottom: Singles Dive Club.

It would help in future diving discussions if you'd complete your Profile with location - and seperately - your Dive Info. You can use the Quick Links above to reach those easily. Sizing a photo for your profile or Avatar can be a challenge; I'm a fumbling amateur, but I get the job done, if you'd like any help?

PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message." :thumb:

WELCOME to ScubaBoard!!!
Quite the website! I had a dickens of a time getting
to it, your link took me to a NASA site, then I just
copied the address and managed to get there.
Hope to see your posts often. I'll be checking
out some of your links as well.

Tom

Welcome to the Board - what a wealth of infromation you have we all can learn from. Hubby has been diving since 1969 - a totally different ball game from then to now. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Thanks for all the warm greetings. Here are the Boards I have been posting on locally here in Southern California: www.diver.net and www.scubadivernet.com
I see my ID is "solo diver". Explanation: I solo dive ONLY because I require 100% concentration on myself and my u/w environment, primarily shipwrecks, leaving zero concentration for you. With that in mind, I don't think you'd want to be my buddy ;-) Two exceptions to this very personal diving profile which I DO NOT ADVOCATE OR ENDORSE: my daughter and/or my son.
BTW, anyone know of volunteer diving opportunities with nonprofit venues, i.e. CEDAM and the Combined Caesarea Expedition (Israel) on wrecks and/or archaeological sites? Tax deductable, folks.

Welcome back to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I notice that you actually already have a screen name here at ScubaBoard as aadiver and that you have posted using it. You may want to send a PM (private message) to Tech Admin and ask him to consolidate the two accounts and use the screen name that you prefer.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
