Question - Pelagic Pressure Systems or Shearwater (the Swift) transmitter failures

There have been discussions regarding failures of Pelagic Pressure Systems and Shearwater transmitters. For Shearwater, I mean only the Swift. Earlier Shearwater transmitters were manufactured by PPS and should be included in PPS voting in the poll. I would like to get an idea about how these...

Holy smokes! Contacted Shearwater on Monday about my transmitter OPV failure and new one under warranty by Friday! Now that’s excellent costumer service!

Having had five Terics since they were first released, I just had my first transmitter failure. NOT flooded and not a battery issue. It died about 20-30 minutes into a dive. Fortunately it was shallow and my DPFL was with me so zero worries. Will stop and get a new one today… got about ~1300 dives on it.
