Has anyone had this error message before?

Yes. I think this is your problem. The Perdix can hold up to 1000 hours on the onboard log. Can vary depending on sampling rate, I imagine. So, older dives on the computer will be overwritten by new dives. Shouldn’t have any affect on dives that have been downloaded to an off DC log.

# Dives: 00220
Dive Time: 0178h28m
Sample rate is set to 10 seconds.
That should take less than 20% storage memory.

Agreed. Something seems to be amiss.

I’ve seen something odd like that with an iPhone years ago. I’d get a storage full notification when I shouldn’t. After doing a system restore, and restoring the phone from a backup just before the restore, the available space made sense again. I was using maybe 30% of available space. A month or so later, storage would show full again. Repeated the process a couple times, then just traded in.

May need service.

Is that version stale? or is it an older model?
V93 is the latest for Perdix and Perdix AI. The newer firmware was mainly to support the latest models.

I think it is patently obvious the software is buggy as hell. The list of issues is very long. Hopefully @ShearwaterJay continues to read on this forum all the issues end users are experiencing and passing them onto the developers for resolution.

The software sucks, the computers are the absolute best on the market.

@ShearwaterJay
Does it differ that much if you combine the reactions here into a ticket, or read an email and copy+paste the contents into a ticket?

Current experience:
  • startup takes too long.
  • dives are not loading from the local account.
  • the list of dive computers is empty.
  • After several minutes, the dives and the dive computers are suddenly there. But only those from the previous app version.
Version: 2.12.1 - I hope this one will be sunset soon.
