I had issues syncing with my new Mac that I just bought, so it needed a brand new sync. I was getting the error 6103 and error 6. I contacted Shearwater support, they were able to fix the issue with a replacement database, and are investigating the root cause of the issue.
 
I keep the SW Cloud app on my phone for one reason only - to update firmware. That’s it.
This is how I was told to update all firmware...use my mobile device...worked perfectly
