OK
I just heard the stroy similar to the Russian guy on Thistlegorm.
Father and 14 year old kid diving the wreck. It was the second dive. Father in the wreck finds out that has only 50 bar of air left. So he goes up. Son stays with the instructor. At the end of the dive the currents started to be really strong. So they are not able to get to their anchor line. Found another one but one of the instructor was not able to make it to the line. So he ascends in the blue and is swept by the current almost 1,5 km away from the boats.
The kid barely makes the ascend, aboards the wrong boat and this boat takes him to his father.

And you know what - father wrote about it in Polish diving forum as a great adventure!!!
He doesn't see that this was a diving accident, that he put his son life in jeopardy.
Can you believe a father being so stupid and totally irresponsible????

I don't have the details. All I know is that the instructor who got swept away was a Russian one. And this was a daily boat. The other instructor that allowed 14 year old kid to dive was Polish. And all this took place 2 years ago.
No names unfortunatelly.

Friday, April the 7th, 2006:
An Italian insturctor was guiding a diver in WoodHouse (Tiran), she paniced for some reason and jumped immidiatly to the surface (unconcious).
the guys on the boat boarded here from the surface, and put her on O2, called the S.A.R.
We asked the guide about the depth, he said 20 m. (actually the computer showed 32 m.), few minutes later the rescue team came and took her and the guide to the hospital .. we called the hospital to inform them about the depth that was shown in the computer.
Yes, the guide's career MIGHT be in danger, but also the diver's life IS ALREADY in danger .. such information u can't hide.

I was diving Dahab on April 7, 8, and 9. I was told there's a dive site between the Canyon and the Blue Hole that actually no one knows. A very experienced dive center owner draw the map for me and I dove it with 5 other divers. It is called Abu Maa (Arabic for Father of Water). I asked each diver to write a dive report and will compile it in one.
