It's real. Call up the photographer if you want verification. He made an appearance on spearboard.com .

There are quite frequent sightings of GWS in this area. More than likely because it is heavily frequented by people of Malibu.

They are out there, they will always be there, they see us, we probably won't see them. Not to freak anyone out, but attacks are freak occurrences in our neck of the woods.
 
I know they are out there but it's a rare occurrence when you see one breeching especially round here.
