Shark attacks down worldwide

Since I'm not in the ocean much unless I'm scuba diving.... I'd really like to know what those 4 divers were doing when they got attacked.

Most likely they were spearfishing. Successfully.

Seriously I also wonder how much of the reduction can be attributed to the wide scale killing of so many sharks for a food entree ?

I'd really like to know what those 4 divers were doing when they got attacked.

I thought that the 4 fatalities were for *all* shark attacks, not just attacks against divers. I'm assuming that they were surfers and swimmers but I don't know that -- it's just a guess.
