Steve, if you haven't booked your hotel and dive op, you should take a look at the deal Blue Angel has going. It's only $590 and includes seven nights, five days of two-tank dives, three meals per day....and, I don't think there's a single supplement, so you'd have your own ocean front room (if they have space available). Water temps are a consistent 84 degrees and since I just got back from my first ever cenote trip I can report 76 to 77 degrees in Kulkulkan and Chac Mool.
I can't say enough about the cenote diving. Coolest thing I've ever done in my life. Awesome!!!!!!!!

My Oceanic 180NX showed temps of 82-83 degrees. I believe it just registers minimum temps.

Just got back an hour ago. I wore a .5 mil rash for shore dives and an old 3 mil(well used full) suit for boat dives.
