Keithab is diving with Aldora. He took the day off today, but we have been having fun! He's going to share video later, but Internet at Occidental is ridiculously expensive...

He missed the north today. We drifted the very end of San Juan and cleaned up the lionfish we see as we drift above when ascending. There were some big ones... Second dive we went along the wall at San Juan. Still plenty of lionfish, but not quite as big as those on the first dive.
Now there are substantially less in both places. :cheerleader:

I know.

It allowed us to get all the gear thoroughly rinsed and dried before locking it up. It also let us schedule a half-day cooking class with Josefina of Cocina con Alma. GREAT chiles en nogada, and the copious leftovers were not a problem getting through security in Cancun, so we had a nice lunch in the lounge waiting to board.

On the other hand, it means connecting through JFK with a 3.5 hour layover and getting to Boston at midnight and driving 2 hours to get home vs. the original direct flight that would have gotten us home at a perfectly reasonable hour with a day to rest before work and school.
