Sent Private Message did not register into Sent Mail Box

I sent a Private Message to a doctor on this board, but when I sent it and was directed back to my inbox, the Sent Mail folder showed as "0." Does that mean my message was not sent or something, or is this function not working properly?

I recently had this issue. The reason it happened for me is because the default on this site seems to be set to not save sent private messages. I changed that in the options to save sent messages and it's working for me now.

It's because you have that feature disabled. It's an option under Messaging and Notification in the Private Messaging section:
