Hi, folks.

Some friends and I are thinking of doing a bareboat charter in the Abacos this May and I'm trying to get more info on the diving. Specifically, is it feasible to do self-led diving in the Abacos or do we generally have to stick with DM-led dives? And how easy is it to find places to get tank fills?

We did the BVI last year and really liked doing the dives on our own schedule and not having to pay for DM-led dives. We ended up diving almost every day and had a great time. How does diving in the Abacos compare to the BVI?

I know that there's a really good book for cruising in the Abacos and I plan to pick that up. Any suggestions for Abacos dive guides?

Thanks for your help. :)
