IE reports a security certificate error on the graphic for "Become a Fan of ScubaBoard.com" on Facebook (the FB/SB graphic).

Not a problem - just FYI.

Nope. I'll try to get you a screenshot if you would like.

It must be some settings on your browser. There is no security certificate for non SSL sites. I checked IE and get no "warning" feel free to post a screen shot.

Thanks Howard.

I'll try to grab one the next time I see it. It is not a problem, and not even a nuisance, really.

Screen Shot

3 things to note - it is not https, the graphic is not displayed, and the error message. I click the error bar, and select "display blocked content" and the graphic then shows, and the error goes away.

It is a fairly new phenomenon - a few weeks maybe.

I have viewed this on Internet Explorer on Win XP, Vista, and Windows 7. I can't reproduce this "phenomenon". Certificate errors are from secure certificates (Https references see: About certificate errors) which there are none. Either your security settings are jacked up in your internet explorer, or your clock on your computer is wrong?

Thanks Howard.

I do have FB set as Secure (https) so that may be where the issue originates (since it is an FB graphic).

Sounds like it is strictly on my end. Thanks for checking it out - sorry for the trouble!

I've been getting the same message every time I load a page. It has been happening for 2 weeks now and it displays the message on both my xp with explorer 8 and my 7 with explorer 9.

I would bet it is because you changed your FB security to the https:. I did and I get the same security error. I would suspect you have two choices. 1) Change your facebook security back to http: or 2) live with it.
