I can't help but thinking that inverting the suit is increasing torsion and stress on glued joints, especially in the sleeves and legs. I guess someone is going to come along and tell me they've been doing it for 30 years with no problems but I won't be doing it unless absolutely necessary.

Are you comparing this to the stresses you put on your suit when donning, diving, doffing

Should after about four million posts, should stuartv, ScubaBoard be getting a percentage

It's a rare event only done to dry out the inside better

Is the Kubi glove sizing for the above determined from the unlined OR lined sizing listed below?

Imagine putting your hand in a jar. That's what dry rings are, especially hard rings like kubi. The smallest is great, but thick liners or having to squish your hands through can make it a pita. The right size just barely touches your hand when you make your hand like you're grabbing the last Pringle in the can. Lightly touching is fine. Having to push or wriggle your knuckles is bad.

That's all helpful to know but I was asking about the glove set, not the rings - on that product link you are measuring for the gloves (M, L, XL, XXL), but they don't specify whether the measurements are for unlined or lined Kubi gloves. In their guide on how to measure, they give separate measurements for unlined and lined drygloves. So I'm a bit lost as to what I should be basing my measurements off for the glove set.

Going to ask around at a couple LDS this week to see if they have templates to measure for the rings.

what size glove do you normally wear for cold weather? Go one size up imo. Kubi gloves are great to start with, easy install and very supple, but they're not great if you tend to touch pokey or abrasive things. I touch stuff, I retrieve anchors, I play with octos, I go down to interact with critters and don't care what others do. I use Showa 660 because they're thicker and don't have overly long and floppy fingers.
