I'm thinking of ordering a Seaskin (membrane) suit and will probably go for neoprene seals. It'll be my fourth drysuit and have used latex, neoprene and rings. While I can see the appeal of quick change seals, I disliked having dry glove rings previously.

Oh thanks for the tips. Where do you find this Avatar brand? The only thing I can find a specific suit called Santi Avatar Avatar SNT Trockentauchanzug Atmungsaktiv Membrananzug is this what you mean?

If you check the contact details on the webpage and Google the address, it’s the same location as Santi in Poland. Thinner fabric and no customisations though.

Alternatively sealdrysuits.eu or a local manufacturer in Germany.

I’m in the UK and anything from EU gets hit with VAT, customs and delays unless I ā€œsmuggleā€ it in myself, I assume you will have the same problem in reverse - and SeaSkin is not worth all that extra cost, no matter what local Americans say :-) . I dive a lot, so I tend to send a drysuit for a repair every 12-18 months or so (zip or neck seal replacements, larger or invisible holes I can’t fix myself, pressure test etc)

But you might be able to get things sorted in a local dive shop.
