How are all your suits doing?

50 dives in, many of my valve's pad are coming off big time... water leaking from pee valve, inflation valve, haven't even checked the exhaust valve..

But you got a deal on the suit and saved a bunch...

My Nova arrived on Feb 14. Since Feb 20, I’m at 10 cave dives and 15hrs 46 minutes. I don’t have a single complaint. Not one. Go on a thread where people are crying about their leaky $3500 suits and then scroll through this one again. The Nova is a really nice suit for the $$.

Awesome, glad to hear it. Mine should be coming in some time in March.

Yeah I know. that's true.

This is also why I wan't so mad about it.. and also wasn't very keen on contacting them for any kind of warranty.

Anyhow, here are the pictures.

You're a diver now mate and in the time you've spent on here you and all the kings horses
and all the kings men could have a good go at practicing gluing it all back together again.

yeah yeah I know.

Huge time procrastinator here.....
I've bought the glue that people told me to use two weeks ago, and will probably try to glue two weeks in the future.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha it's a start and you can only start with a start and remember the camera for we voyeurs

that also have a desire to learn stuff

I would still contact them. Even if you don't want to do a warranty claim, letting them know about this might prevent someone else having same problems.

Is there a chance it was left in a hot car? In the sun? The glue will seperate if it sees heat.

The only other thing would be if it wasn't cleaned really well before the glue was applied. I've had that happen before.

That sucks.

When you do glue rough the surface up then clean, clean, clean the surface. Apply multiple coats and let each one set before rolling it out.

If you've never done it before I would do one spot and see how it goes. It's not hard, but take your time and watch lots of videos.

I find gluing satisfying knowing I don't have to depend on and pay someone else.

Good luck!

@SaltyFrog after looking at the pictures again I would absolutely contact them. That doesn't look right at all. I can't fathom what that could be but it's almost like there's no glue at all on any of those surfaces.

I've never seen a Seaskin up close, and I have no idea what their process is, but something looks off to my inexperienced uneducated eye🧐
