I am looking at getting a Catalina compact AL 100 tank. It is rated at 3300psi. I can save 30 bucks if I get it without a valve. I have an old Seamless valve sitting around but would it be up to the challenge?
It is a 3/4 K type. It has a chrome finish. On the front it has the word SEAMLESS and below that the letter "B". On the back all it has is "MADE IN U.S.A."
I do not know the age, it could be 10 to 40 years old. Otherwise it is in good shape.
So, any idea if it would work or maybe where I could find the info on this?
Thanks!
Gary

It is probably fine if it has been maintainced, but you will need to change out the burst disk as I bet it is for a 2400psi cylinder.

What Scared Silly said and it is closer to 40 years old then 10. It was the Seamless Rubber company and sold diving gear under the Nemrod/Seamless name until about 1980.
